Hello everyone, It is nice to see a few more ladies sharing phyllodes experiences.
Lydia, you are sounding positive and fingers, toes and arms crossed for next week.
My benign phyllodes was removed with clear margins. I have my next six monthly check up next month. They are keeping an eye on one area. I don't let is dominate my life. I have grandchildren, work and a loving husband to keep me focused.
I agree doctors play down the seriousness of Phyllodes tumours. When I feel pain in my left breast I can't help but wonder if it is phyllodes again or just scare tissue building up. If this next check up is all clear then I can move to an annual check.
My new job is keeping me busy along with renovating my sister in laws new home. We are near the end of the reno's and will be glad to have our weekends back.
Katie, you are fantastic keeping this going. With a little family and your job I appreicate the time you find to encourage others to share. Wtih knowledge we become stronger and can be empowered to make the right choices.
Vicko you are awesome and have come such a long way.
