Katie - well done on the fun runs/walks thats amazing. It is such a great feeling getting back into life / exercise im missing the gym and my zumba classes, .......You are inspirational - i had got myself back to the gym 4 times a week before this operation and was feeling on top of the world! Can not wait ti get back there - two more weeks id say.
My operation went really well, still a little tender but nothing compared to the lad dorsi/ masectomy!! Had a little scare as i was due to get my left breast checked ( 6 month check up) but it all ended to be nothing - im so thankful i have a fab specialist!
Vicki i hope yo are recovering well!!! i can say that it is all very worth it once the pain and discomfort passes! i feel like a women again which is fantastic! sending you lots of healing x x x
I have also started my nipple reconstruction which is a little freaky but painless as it is on the patch on my chest that is numb. i soooo can not wait till this is all over!
