Hello again,
We are now up to 10 members! Welcome to all our new members and please post in any of the blogs eeven just to say Hi or let us know how everything is going.
Just a quick update: I had my last follow-up with my plastic surgeon almost 2 weeks ago - and everything looks good and I only have to have yearly reviews with her to make sure the implant is behaving itself! I am happy with the results and bought myself two new pairs of swimmers for the beach to celebrate - Hooray!!!! I went camping the day after my follow-up to the beach for a week and christened them both :) (swimmers and new Breasts...lol), this was the first time I felt I could go swimming since the Beginning of Feb this year!!
I had a scare 4 weeks after my reduction surgery as I had found another lump in the reduced breast and had to have an ultrasound. Fortunately it was a thrombosed vein..phew however it brought all the stress, emotions and feelings back again from my original diagnosis. Thankfully it was nothing however I don't know if I will ever feel safe in my own body again as I have lost some trust in it since my Phyllodes diagnosis. I have yearly ultrasounds now on both sides as follow-up and if I am concerned about anything more often if required.
