Petition to get TDM1 on the PBS

Please sign this petition on change.org, not just for my daughter but for all of the women who have advanced her2+ breast cancer, whose options are running out.

Her2+ is an aggressive breast cancer that typically affects younger women. TDM1 (KADCYLA) is a targeted therapy that costs about $170k per year. The maker, Roche, has a compassionate access program that costs patients about $15k. Yes, it should be cheaper. The drug has been subsidised in the USA, but the PBS here in Australia continues to reject applications to fund it.  So women here who need it either simply cannot afford Kadcyla or have to make heartbreaking decisions about how to pay for it.
