Ronnie you have your hands full. My parents have both passed and I admit there were times I wantede maama so much and other times I thought they would have had trouble seeing me go through it all.
My situation was complicated by the fact that they found I also had a 2nd primary cancer, so I had a kidney removed after my chemo not what I was expecting so it changed everything for me.
I did intend to work through but I got to my 2nd chemo and I was so sick that I just couldn't do it and of course there was the kidney etc. I took 7 months off work and was very lucky that I had 5 months full sick leave and then went on income protection.
I have been very lucky as my work is supportive of me. even now if I have issues I can work from home some of the time. though that being said I am off to SA to work next week and dreading it.
Anyway take care, get that little dog it will be good for you my darling were wonderful when Iw as sick they stayed by my side the whole time.
