Feeling so so relieved - got pathology results today & the news is all good!
Breast cancer was successfully removed, had not spread & no sign of cancer in lymph nodes.
Next step is Radiation therapy to kill off any remaining mutating celIs.
Definitely makes dealing with my oozing, lymph node incision from Sentinel node biopsy more bearable!!!
Yes, the waiting was definitely the hardest thing Tracey!
It was only a week of waiting for results after surgery but by the time I got to the appointment I was so physically & emotionally tired that as soon as my surgeon announced it's all good news, I cried tears of joy.

Sorry my reply won't reach you before your appointment.
My cancer was Stage 1 & small (8mm). It was also up high (12.00 position) - so combined with the other favourable pathology results no Chemo is required, just Radiation.
Have a Medical oncologist appointment next week to discuss 'possible' hormone therapy (mine is estrogen receptive).

Got a question for you, did they give you a stage 1 or 2 etc. I've had similar results to you but they said borderline grade 2 for me, and heading over for chemo discussion tomorrow. And do you need the hormone therapy also.
Hope you don't mind the questions, just curious before I head into tomorrow.
