Past first base

Well the surgery is over.....I felt like I spent a week just getting everything in order and then the last few days trying to make sure it didn't stop me. 

The Doctor was happy that he got everything and he was able to save my nipple as the cancer was just under it. 

He said I was lucky the lump was at the top as it didn't show up in the mamogram, so lucky me I had it checked and didn't think it was just another cyct. 

Anyway...I'm one of the lucky ones...we got it early and only lost a little bit of breat, but can't see anything yet as the bandages have to stay on until Thursday when I see the surgeon and get the results of the pathology, but the bruising under it looks awful. 

Once we get this I'll then get to know how they are going to attack it.  I don't think I'm scared just anxious...so don't worry I know where to turn if I need to run anything by anyone.
