I am going on Wednesday to see about a trial called Pallas when I will receive palbociclib for two years, 21 days taking it and 7 days not, in combination with letrozole (my AI), for my early breast cancer. I have had chemo, double mastectomy and radiotherapy. Interesting questions thanks primek, will ask if it precludes me from using it if I get mets. I guess they know a bit about what to expect because it has been used in metastatic cancer with great benefit, but the side effects do worry me a bit. I'm going in on the understanding that if I don't cope with it, I will pull out but at least I will give it a try. I will be told if I'm getting the drug or the placebo.
