Welcome to BCNA, as you are already aware, reading other's stories and connecting with people who are experiencing similar things can be very helpful.
I had Docetaxel which is a similar chemo drug to taxol. I felt very weak, had some fluid retention and lots a pain after finishing chemo. This took the best part of 3 months to really improve. I found the thing that helped me the most was exercise. I started with just walking and found that I quickly improved. Eating lots of fruit and vegetables and reducing salt can help with the fluid. Watermelon is particularly good for this. Also drink plenty of water and avoid caffeine and alcohol.
It can be very exhausting and depressing but by making small changes you do start seeing improvements that spur you on to getting better. The more you can do to help your body the faster you will improve. Hope you are soon feeling heaps better. Take care. Deanne xxx
PS the radiation will make you feel tired too but this will pass and exercise does help.
