I've done the Paclitaxel (commonly known as Taxol) and Herceptin but not Perjeta. As I had 9 months of Herceptin on its own, I can say with some confidence that I had no side effects from that at all, that I was aware of.
Taxol I didn't like - most people find it much easier than A/C but I didn't have any immediate problems with A/C other than the obvious ones (like losing my hair!). Taxol on the other hand was annoying. However the only long term side effect was peripheral neuropathy. This is often temporary and can range from tingling, or pins and needles sensations in hands and feet, to a funny combination of both significant loss of feeling and pain. Extreme outcomes are not so common, many people find that symptoms reverse once they finish Taxol but take it seriously if you experience any such symptoms. Cold mitten/glove treatment for hands and feet may help (discuss with your oncologist), I found Vitamin B helped a bit, too. Other Taxol side effects can include runny or occasionally bloody noses, watery eyes, loss of taste. Irritating, not disastrous and end pretty fast once your 12 weeks are up. Best wishes.
