Oh I thought I replied but I didn't to the post bit at the bottom sorry. Yes I was less than 24hours and home again. First day home is lovely as you are all full of pain meds. Today was a challenge as I had terrible nausea. Not sure if it was the radioactive dye still being dispelled as a lovely green in the toilet bowl or the panadols on a worried stomach.
In the end I got on to my breast nurse who said I was ok to take an alka-seltzer and that settled my stomach enough to hold in breakfast and take some nurophen afterwards.
All good now and so relieved to have the cancer gone. Nice neat job too and I shook my surgeons hand and thanked him. He is a quiet man and got a little embarrassed in front of the trainee doctors but I think he was pleased I thanked him.
