Hi Brenda
Monday will come and go quickly.
Whilst 'they' expect you to only stay one night, if your body does not react as they expect it to they will allow you to stay longer so they can be sure your blood pressure, wounds and drains are all OK before you go home.
If that is the case, sit back and relax as you don't want to get home and have to go back in with complications.
Don't worry, they will feed you appropriately as soon as they feel you are ready ! If you are going 'private' they will try to get you what you feel like eating - not sure about in 'public' - but ask.
If your husband is unsure ask the discharge planner to get the district nurse to come in daily once you are home. Take any help offered as you can always cancel if you feel it is not required.
From another who is missing 'Miss Rightie' - all the very best. Personal message me if you would like to talk more.
Big hugs each day
Summer :-)
