Ovaries removal - your experience
Hi I am in my early 40th and due to have my ovaries removed soon. I would like to hear from members who had their ovaries removed - what kind of impact it made? any mood changes, bone density...
If your bone density drops too low they will recommend prolia injections 6 monthly (it's not hormone related at all). Ensure you have your Vit D levels checked as imperitive to Bone health. There is an online course you can do to assist in maintaining bone health. I planned to do it but presently just managing to get back to full time work has been a struggle, no additional energy.
I have yearly bone density scans as mine was crap before starting femera.
