operation

hi all
waiting to go in for the operation was the hardest. so long!!!

Ive been out of hospital since thursday. i don't remember much about the operation except them putting the breathing thing on me for a few seconds then i was out. i remember the recovery room and then people wheeling me out into another room. next thing i had this tube in my nose. woke up and saw my mum and dad sitting near the bed. was still sleepy so i couldnt see much. first night i threw up a few times because of the anesthaetic. they took my blood pressure it seemed like every hour!! had the nurses help me to the toilet and stuff.

had so many painkillers the first few nights but then not as many later on. First time i saw where they had cut into me and taken the breast off i actually didn't cry. I was close to crying but this lovely nurse was with me and she helped me through it heaps. She was awesome! the food was good too. i couldn't eat much for most of the time but the last day i could eat normal food. I grew more comfortable with the hospital as it went on but i was glad to go and sleep in my own bed
