I had mine last wednesday. I am recovering well. It may be daunting to be in hospital for the first time and for something this serious but be sure that you will have the support you require. I had my husband and daughter with me who kept me entertained until I was wheeled to theater. If you don't have anyone with you keep yourself busy by watching or browsing through fun website or shows.
I have an appointment with my specialist tomorrow to get my sentinel node biopsy result and treatment plan. I am nervous but I am planning to go on a lunch time cruise and some retail therapy ,for a family member's wedding, with my sister afterwards no matter what the result may be.
