Oncologists

I have a reocurrance of triple negative and now in my sternum. Has anyone used Paul Mainwairingn (Mater Private - brisbane) as an oncologist? Did you like him? Can you give me any information at all... I would really appreciate it. I have seen 3 oncologists now and 2 were in agreeance together and this Paul was all for the new treatment targeting DNA.

I am so nervous about this but had a reasonable good positive feeling.. but got the feeling he has an ego, but I guess that in a way is a good thing as most oncologists to date just don't believe in their medicine.

I am so confused. Any help you can give on him would be greatly appreciated. thankyou xx

    Hi Sheree, Firstly I just want to say that you are amazing. Keeping such a positive attitude is realy just amazing. I dont have breast cancer im brac 2 positibe but my mum was diganosed with triple negative almost 3 years ago and has had a recurrence she was having treatment but the cancer has grown while she has been on a chemo tablet. Im struggling with the options her doctor is giving her came  across dr mainwarring and was just wondering if you went ahead with him and the treatment option you mentioned about DNA. If you dont mind could you shed some light on his recommendation. thanks alot and i can only imagine what you are going through x
