I feel more at ease today after quite a long visit with the oncologist. Up till today she hasn't been at all interested and seemed more keen for an early afternoon than to talk to me. This morning she must have had a kiss goodbye from her husband as she was a different person. I asked questions and she answered. She even organised an appt with a surgeon re a breast reconstruction! So, all in all, it was a very good day! :o)

Glad your appointment went well. You can tell me tomorrow about the reconstruction as would like to know how to get the ball rolling from the Redcliffe end. Am seeing my Surgeon and Oncologist on March 3rd so hope to discuss it then.

I guess everone has good and bad days. Maybe your onc has better mornings than afternoons. I'm glad you got your questions answered and surgery all sorted. I think it's important to have confidence in all your cancer team from GP to Oncologists and breast surgeons, everyone involved in your treatments.
I'm glad you got there in the end.
