Oncologist today.

Today I had my first appointment with my oncologist. Well I am now on Tamoxifen 2omg a day, and once a mth Zoladex injections. Also my oncolgist has adviced me to have a genetic test as I have a lot of family history of cancer. If it comes back positive for BRC1 OR BRC2 she said she would look at me having a masectomy in the other breast and a hysterectomy, as I would be at a very high risk. 

Dr Lombard  told me that the risks from chemo , outway the benefits, due to the fact the lump was only15mm and the area clear and the lymph nodes  were clear. That Tamoxifen would do the same.

Has anyone else been put on the same , if so what side affects did you experience?. Debbie
