Oncologist Advice

Just reporting that Dr Matos was wonderful. So very comforting as I started as soon as he called my name. 

I start chemo next week. 3 cycles FEC 3 cycles Docetaxel.

Fingers crossed not too awful.

Welcome to the support group. I'm sorry you have to be in this position but this group has helped me thru some very difficult times.

I havent had any experiences with Dr Marco Matos as I see Dr Maree Colosimo. I'm sure he will be the right doctor for you though. Make sure you ask any aquestions you need to & don't be shy & no answer is to silly ( i asked heaps of questions). All the doctors I'm seeing are so amazing and they will be there for you the whole way and so will we.

I am in the Redlands and have not heard of your oncologist. You can always ask for a second opinion or referral to another if you do not feel comfortable with the advice or the doctor. My oncologist is Dr Poh-See Choo at Greenslopes Medical Centre, she also has rooms at Sunnybank.
