on the mend

well its been a hard week not only feeling terribly tired but i have a pic line in as in true sharon fashion i got a bad reaction to the dressing yes i'm not joking big blisters all over my arm ouch they were painful and to top it off a head cold so i was feeling quite miserable so back and forwards to the hospital every day for dressing change and my trip to Sydney for the long weekend was cancelled .....but i'm on the mend and a positive has come out of it my son Zak is bringing his girlfriend home for the weekend to meet me so i'm looking forward to that then on wednesday i have my look good feel good session then next chemo on thursday so i'm going to enjoy my weekend and before i know it round 3

    Sorry to hear all that Shaz.Well I think you should just run from anyone coming near you with a dressing or roll of tape! It's good that you have some fun times lined up before the next toxic refill.

    Hi Sharon,  Thought you must of been "playing up" again.  I think you are the winner for having the most issues with treatment.  It must be time for a good run now.  Rest up.  XLeonie

    hi sharon, sorry to hear things are not going too well, but the positive is meeting your sons girlfriend, so make sure they spoil you over the weekend, and rest up ready for the next round. take care Moira
