On the home run

Breast cancer has now been a part of my life since April this year and I am happy to say that I only have 2 more sessions of chemotherapy to go. I'm having them avery 3 weeks and my last day is the 24th of November.

I still have to go through the radiation, reconstruction and the herceptin part until at least August next year, but at least the side effects will not be so bad.

    It is a good feeling ladies. Knowing that you are on the last of it. I have decided to take a few weeks rest before starting my radiation. Unfortunately if I did go ahead with it straight away it would mean doing it right through the Christmas school holidays and I would like to take at least a little time off to spend with my kids rather than being at the hospital every day.

    Well done I finished chemo 2 weeks ago best feeling I start radiation Tuesday the 21st and herception till next June I've also been lucky with side effects good luch with the rest of chemo

    Good for you! It's a great feeling knowing the chemo is over. My last chemo was on Thursday and I start radio 5/11. This all started for me in April too! It's certainly been a full on time. I wish you well with your last chemos. We've made it through the worst part. Go us! Karen xox
