My veins dissappeared so I got a picc line much easier than them trying to find a vein each time.. be guided by your medical team....
I was diagnosed 2012 aged 52 with no family history of bc with triple negative stage 3 with lymph involvment..... I decided on double mastectomy, then chemo then radiation... now nearly 4 years later I am cancer free....
It's not something any of us chose to have.....
Try an app for your phone/ipad/tablet called "white noise" try the sounds until you find one that helps you still your mind... I use this now to help me settle into sleep each night now with no meds....
Do you have a breast care nurse? Ask her about local support groups..
There is light at the end of the tunnel...
