off all of it.
Have had to come off the tablets altogether. Eanded up in hospital unable to move at all. They have found my spine is disintergrating rapidy. Obviously these drugs are not for people who already have bone problems.!

THE INVASION 2011
He came into my life, like a thief in the night
Unheard, unseen, unfelt , planting a vicious malignancy
To grow and maim, to simmer sight unseen inside me
Until the magic eye called 'mammogram' revealed his presence!
And then my life was no longer mine..I was no longer in control of my own destiny!
I felt betrayed-attacked by fear as this aggressive stranger took control,
My Life was threatened by some weird entity that now, Dwelt inside of me!
This was my breast-that part of me that once delighted my husband
And fed my children to keep them strong and help them grow.
Now at nearly seventy I had to lose this part of me and my life!
quick decisions had to be made-no time to consider all the ifs or maybes
No time to fully understand what had to be done
Only to DO what had to be done -today, now, never later!
And now it is done-gone taken off completely to be frozen and sliced
And analysed -now just another specimen in a jar, under a microscope
Not even human now, a disconnect, a strange dead tissue
And in that tissue his malignant legacy, his threat, his meanest 'gift'
His name is cancer- but my name is Coral and like my natural namesake
I will endure- and go on to live my life as I would wish!
For I will not ever concede - mine will be the victory- I will be the victor!
I will win and my victory will be sweet! I KNOW!!
