Oestradiol levels

Hi Recent blood tests results show that I have elevated oestradiol levels (2803 pmol). The normal range is only up to 20000 and can be a lot lower. I am currently on Tamoxifen and have been for 2 years sine my surgery. My early stage low grade IDC was > 98% oestrogen receptor positive. I am 51. My GP has no idea (and is making some calls). I wondered whether anyone else had had a similar experience and what, if anything, was done. Thanks!!

    Good Morning,

    I too have extremely high levels- although when I spoke to my Oncologist about it he said that this was normal on Tamoxifen because the brain is tricked into thinking it needs to produce more, if that makes sense. He told me to trust that the Tamoxifen is working on the Estrogen in my body and try not to worry.
