Numbness - Arimidex

HI ladies,

I have been on Arimidex now since October 2013 so just 3 months and have had side effects creaping up on me, muscle fatigue, joint pain, hot flushes, night sweats all the usual suspects.

Lately I have had issues with pain in my neck and the tops of my arms then its spreads to a tingling and then numbness with my hands trembling. The 1st time it happened is scared the bejesus out of me and then it just went away. It seems to come and go, I am going to see my GP tomorrow but am not really expecting much joy. Has anyone else had this type of side effect?

    I am sorry to hear about the side effects of Arimidex,and feel glad that for the time being I am on Tamoxifen.I don't look forward to the day that I switch,if this is what I have to look forward to.I hope that you can get on top of things son.Cheers Robyn.xoxo

    I went to the GP today and yes the numbness is a side effect. Not something that was discfussed originally with my oncologist but something I will be discussing on my next visit.

    I also had x-rays done on my right hip as the pain is getting worse, fingers crossed it just another side effect.
