Nucler bone scan

Hello all my pink lovely Chrimbo ladies

Awful day yesterday and at hospital for full nuclear bone scan. Forgot my anti depressant that should be taken every morning at same time. Took two valium for machine and had not slept a minute for the whole night before hand so balled my eyes out most of the day. I requested a blind fold and for me that’s great. They said my head was going under.  They tied my legs together!

Results phoned in to-day and once again I have a suspicious thing/spot behind my sternum (breast bone) still cancer and arthritis in my backbone , right hip and left ankle. (I am 55yrs old) but on the whole very good news as I have a suspicious spot but nothing else. Let’s hope the CT next week which is a photo of organs comes back as positive. If it does I only then have to address the brain tumour and keep an eye on breast bone, I can do that.

I am very glad/happy to be the bearer of good news. Last two weeks rattling around my head was all bad and I know all of you understand that statement. A light at the end of a long tunnel and by golly I am plodding towards it.

Hope all you ladies are doing well and looking forward to Chrimbo

Cyber hugs

  • Hello Folks

Well back from the Gold Coast and had a marvellous time. The night before I left I was directed to go straight to Emergency as the results of my CT scan that morning showed a very inflamed gall bladder. I said since I had no pain and no temp I was not going! Good call. My medical oncologist phoned one hour before leaving for the airport and told me I was to see another private neuro surgeon as he was not happy at all. We went through why I was told to go to emercency by my radio oncologist (regestra) and he laughed and said good call Sarah. The new surgeon has confirmed breast metastesis in brain and want surgery. Off for another MRI without sedation so I am going to have to man up for this one. Wait wait and more waiting. I suppose by Feb it will be all sorted. Hope you are all doing well. what was your outcome Arrow from bone scan. Good news I hope

    Happy new year
