Nothing prepared me for this

I had my surgery on Thursday last week for the implanting of the tissue expander/stretcher or whatever you want to call it.

Straight away I felt like I had a "man" boob and the concave feeling that I had was no longer there - there was a lump.....even if this is not very big.

No one prepared me for the bruising.........I look like I have 10 rounds with cassius clae.....bruises all over my new "lump" (to be expected) but also over half of the other breast.  My rib cage is sore (I had a sore rib prior to all of this treatment from a "crack") but this is all of the rest of the front ribs.  I also have heavy bruises in my groin and close to my hip and all over my sternum.......I am taking pain killers (just panadol) but all day and night.....I work tenderly.

Tomorrow I see the surgeon and will get some feedback on whether all of this is normal.

It feels like he put his knee into my ribs to shove the stretcher up into the proper place......

On a positive note...........I feel like I am going to feel like I am a woman again (and to be honest I didn't know that I didn't feel like that until I felt the "man" boob lump).....
