I borrowed a wig from the Cancer Council up here in Qld. I also bought one before I found this other one, and I was reimbursed for it. My daughters wedding was in the February, after my second treatment, and we thought the borrowed wig looked much nicer.
My husband still struggles with it because my emotions are still effected. I think I'm more anxious now. They want to protect us but they can't do anything about this. Nobody really asks how the husband is going either unless they've been through it themselves. Everybody asks how I am. I did that as well, before I was diagnosed.
It would be great if you could continue working.
