Never a bad idea after chemo, just to reassure yourself. But wait a bit. Taxol is rough on soft tissue which is why eyes, mouth (bad taste, loss of taste buds etc) and nose problems are common. But they do mainly clear up satisfactorily after a few weeks of no Taxol.
