What a decision to make--its hardly ever against two options that are so clear cut. I dont have direct experience; except when i worked in palliative care --which you arent in--there were clearly people with cancer having chemotherapy with no real benefit in terms of illness progression or life wellbeing/functioning that would have treatment and then in bed etc
Sometimes doctors dont get what your life is like outside of the treatment room so you may need to have that conversaiton with them or find a second opinion --someone who can hold the medical and your style or wellbeing as well; probably best decision to be made; and i would want to know --if possible--what treatment can do for me in real terms-ie life expectancy or functioning/wellbeing etc
