The waiting does do your head for sure. I think I had to wait 5 weeks to get final results but then the multidisciplinary team had to see them first before I had an appointment to discuss the final results. I had to wait six weeks anyway following surgery to start my chemo.
I handled this the same way as Deane did - kept busy doing exercises following surgery, walking, reading and keeping in touch with friends.

Waiting is pain and stresss. I would say your Dr team were very caring, they might still investigate and test more on your results. Your tumour had been removed, Get the best rest and recover yourself, there may be chemo/radio afterward, and you will need energy to fight for it.
I was told to remove the whole log of lymph nodes, however, a week later they changed their mind of not doing it for me, since Chemo have to be taken place, and the drug will work on any area around that.
Dont think to much, just leave that to the Specialist and they definitely will sort that out and suggest you the best treatment schedule.
