Nipple Reconstruction

I am looking at a nipple reconstruction and my PS has suggested taking the skin from my inner thigh. I need to decide if this is what I want or to go with tattooing. I would love some feedback and advice. I have heard that infection is a concern and scarring if the skin is used from the inner thigh.

Also is there anyone that can be recommended in the Brisbane or Sunshine Coast area who does the tattooing. Thanks Maree

    Hi,

    I have had nipple reconstruction but they used some of my breast tissue to make them.  They look ok, a bit little and of course they have no feeling.  I found it to be much better than not having any and do think it to have been worth it.
