Sorry to see you here but a very big welcome. I am 54 and was diaganosed in Jan. As my tumor in the left breat was very big I have had to do chemo first to shrink. Just done my 4th round. I am then having a double mastectomy and the radiation. I think you approaching the cancer sensible it's not a nice place to be at the start of your journey and as you "speak" to other women and use this site it will become easier. I made the mistake of researching everything and there is a lot of crap on the internet and always extreme stories so be careful. This site is very relaible. Talking to a breast nurse and joining phyisical support groups would also be helpful and you can draw great strength from other women. Healing hugs take care and one day at a time.
