My surgery date is next Thursday 27th Oct. Almost a year to the date I had my mastectomy. Yeah Just want it all over. I was told yesterday I only need Radioactive Iodine injections after the surgery and will have to travel from bundaberg to Brisbane for the treatment and over night stay in the hospital to keep an eye on me.
So I dont have to have anymore Chemo - I was so happy about that. They are also looking at abnormalities with my CT scan in the small bowel. So they will be investigating that too sometime in the near future. Fingers and toes crossed that is just inflammation from Chemo.
