I did exactly what you did. My advice was based on my experience which for most of the time was very good. I only took the drugs given to me on chemo day and the ones you take for up to 3 days afterwards. I didn't need to use the others so ended up with lots of bottles of parmin and 2 boxes of stemsil so told the hospital not to give me any more. I have not let my TNBC define me and have only thought myself a patient when I was an in-patient in hospital (surgery & for neutropenia). My time off was forced on me by my oncologist as I had the strongest 6 x FEC that I could be given. I ate and drank what I fancied and exercised when I could. I never wore a wig but I did cover my head not for my benefit but for others. I took advice before I started chemo from others on this site. Some of which was useful for some symptoms and others I never had to use. It was just nice to know there was information on line from other TNBC's if I needed it. :)
