Natty, further to my recent comments on my journey and encouraging you in yours, you may find your chemo nurses a great source for tips on how to manage side effects. Also, consider getting a haircut and a good wig and/or scarf - well you may want to at least look at where you could get them if you need them. You may just need one to keep your ears warm on a cold night!! Some planning around that might be useful, and your boys might have a bit of fun trying your head gear on! During treatment i utilised the services of a counsellor at our local breast cancer care provider, and i have since been seeing a psychologist as part of a mental health care plan with my GP. I have found the psych sessions invaluable in trying to learn to come to some acceptance of life after cancer and the uncertainties that come with that. It has also assisted me to reintegrate back into work which i am just loving. Also, ensure you keep up good dental hygiene even if your mouth gets really sore. I am thinking of you. Dee
