Newly Diagnosed
Hi my name is Nat and have had a big day today finding out I have an Invasive Duactal Triple Negative 8cm mass. Wow finally blogged it and got it out there!! I am so scared about starting this jour...
Thank you ladies...just amazing replies as I am one for getting as much information as I can! I am so comforted by reading and writing on this post.
I had all the CT and Bone scans done yesterday which was such an exhausting experience BUT am happy to say that I got the all clear in all other areas...so tomorrow off to see the Onologist to get started on my Chemo journeye to beat this!
Have already got my baskets ready for records and medical bits and pieces. My journey kit has arrived and is really a great resource and my new bible. Converted our bedroom into a place for peace and recovery.
We had the conversation with my boys (4 & 6Years old) about Mummys sickness....one of the hardest things I have ever had to do but they were amazing and have given me even more strength to get through this journey.
My local school community Mums are an amazing bunch already teaming up to cook and freeze dinners to help out my Hubby. A roster has been made to pick the boys up from school depending on how Im feeling.
Wow...am so overwhelmed in a different way today not by the diagnosis but by how very supportive, loving and helpful everyone has been! Normally I am that strong, organised and independent women who nevers asks for a thing let a lone help but when you need it the help is there and I intend to take it!!
My new job now is to beat this and heal!
Love you all, Nat xxx
