Newly diagnosed

Hi all, so tests done bone/bone marrow biopsie done, results are inconclusive, they 90% sure I have secondary breast cancer in my spine, I have started on hormone therapy yesterday, off to see an orthopaedic surgeon in about a week to get his opinion with a possible biopsie to be done on spine marrow, this is being done because there is something in my spine marrow that shouldn't be there and it's in my lymph nodes but not acting like a breast cancer, bloods all normal, no pain no symptoms not in major organs so lots of positives here which is keeping me going, has this happened to anyone else?? I have them all bamboozled at the moment till we can get a 100% diagnosis.

  • Waiting for test results is so overwhelming.. it is an emotional roller coaster. It must be awful to get results that are inconclusive. As you have said there are lots of positives from your results. Just know that we are thinking of you and hope you get peace of mind soon. Chris.x

  • Far out, what a worrying time for you!!It must be particularly stressful when you don't know for sure, but you think you know!!I hope that they can get to the bottom of it soon,so you can start on whatever treatment you might need to have.As we all know, there are so many other things, apart from BC,that doctors need to eliminate .Try to take it one day at a time, and as you said, you feel good,so that can only be a positive thing.Stay in touch.xoxCheers Robyno
