Hi Kazzi,welcome to this network.You are at the very scary stage and it looks like the goal posts have been moved on you already with having to have more surgery.It's not uncommon.I was 47yrs old when I got my first bc diagnosis and had 2 teenage girls.That was 12 years ago.I had to have a lumpectomy full node clearance and radiation- my bc was also estrogen +ve. 7 yrs later it came in the same breast and I had to jump through all the hoops again. That was 5 yrs ago and I'm enjoying life now.When bc is caught early you'll most likely be fine. Once all your pathology is through,you'll get a plan and you'll feel a little better.The treatments are hard but just tackle them one at a time.So sorry you've joined us but this is truly the best place to come for info and support.
