It is so overwhelming indeed. I opted for a mastectomy upfront and the chemo. Unfortunately after my mastectomy came back with more lymph node involvement and very very surprising a positive reading for HER2 which was negative previously from the biopsy pre mastectomy. This cancer stuff sucks and is as most say a roller coaster ride. I start a new chemo regime because of my change of test results. Scarese thinking what else maybe they could have missed.
All I can say to you is go with what is right for you on your journey as we are so all very individual.
