Hi Nay.
This is my first post in this group.
I know that we are all strong, capable, independent people (well me only sometimes), but I hope that you can ask for, accept and graciously receive all of the help you can.
This shouldn't be a solo journey.
It has taught me how blessed it is to receive...took me 50 years to learn.
People want to help, but they need a little idea of HOW.
I am learning to ask for help, things, company...all sorts of stuff without feeling guilty and it's great to see how much people love to be able to help, if you need it.
Be a squeeky door (the squeeky door gets oiled idea!).
We have to be our own health advocates and question everything that you want to know about. Keep records...the My Journey kit helps with this, and ask for copies of things that you want.
I'm probably "preaching to the converted". Just thought I'd say this stuff, 'cause it took me SOOOO long to learn.
Love and prayers for you, Nay.
Janette xo
