Hello Nay, I am feeling for you right now as i know the mind is trying to take in all the knowledge and find more knowledge to help you with any decision making. I was diagnosed with IBC and Grade 3 and had to have all three - chemo first, right breast mastectomy and 17 lymph nodes removed then radiatherapy in order to give me a better prognosis. I felt trust and assurance in my surgeon and his team and the medical oncologist to follow what they reassured me is my journey for my breast cancer. They will give you the best possible outcome of your situation. We all have a plan which is customised to suit your prognosis and that becomes your journey. Keep positive as that will help keep up your 'happy cells' and do have a good cry when you need it. I wish you all the best and alway remember not everyone gets a second chance at cancer so run with it!!! Hugs to you, Maree.
