Thanks to the dexamethasone I've been very busy! Cooked dinner for the family for tomorrow night , went for a 6 km walk and did two loads of washing... Still wide awake but will settle down and do one of my longer yoga nidra and chakra meditation CDs which work a charm . failing that I have friends in the UK ( we lived there 6 years) and the US so I can always bother them as they'll be up and about .
Thanks for thinking of me.
I've decided chemo is a bit like labour...despite how much they talk about it beforehand to prepare you , there really is no knowing by you, the doctors or the staff how you will react , And as we know with childbirth some lucky women sail through it in 2 hours with barely a pain and out pops bub with one push....and some women labour long and hard only to end up with a Caesarian . At least the second time you really are more prepared and have a much better idea how your body will respond. So I'm thinking after all this is finished a trip away might substitute as my "baby" reward :) xxx
