New radiation trial - St George Hospital Sydney

Just a note to let people know that St George Hospital in Sydney is looking for 60 participants for a trial of radiation therapy that  is over with a couple of visits in one week -- not daily for five or six weeks!

They insert the rods straight into the tumour.

The news report says it suits women with smalller tumours.

The woman interviewed said she recovered very quickly and had no side effects.

Worth a call for anyone out there newly diagnosed with a small sized tumour, perhaps?
