Hi, I am also a new member. My initial diagnosis in Dec '08 was Advanced Breast Cancer (spread to my bones). I had a full mastectomy with removal of all 14 lymph nodes. 11 nodes were cancerous, so surgeon dediced to take the whole lot. I also did the chemo and radiation therapy. I am receiving Zometa infusion every month and was also placed on Femara. I took Femara for 6 months, but it also gave me sore joints, especially in hands and wrist. Oncologist has taken me off Femara for a while, to see if joint pain eases, then he will start me on another therapy. Unfortunately, have been off Femara for 3 months now, and havent noticed a difference in the soreness in my wrist. I guess it is still early days, so I will just wait and see what happens.
