Commiserations, it’s a shock for anyone. We all fear chemo but for me it ended up being nowhere near as bad as I feared. I was younger (67), healthy but not very fit. Side effects from chemo are variable and don’t seem to follow any logical path. As @primek says, it may not be a preferred treatment for you. Hard as it is, try to take one step at a time, detailed planning at this stage - until you get all your results and recommended treatment - isn’t always productive. Best wishes.
