Just been diagnosed with phyllodes tumour with a sarcoma in the middle malignant of course. Is there anyone else out there as I am told both are rare . Just my luck tossing up between lumpectomy and ...
4 days left to the end of long journey. Finally I have my surgery - mastectomy after really starting a long process with a lump found 3 years ago. After being told it was ok and it would stay in place I then found out on december 2013 that it was not ok. The usual mamogram, ultrasound and core biopsy to establish that it was a phyllodes tumour. So lumpectomy performed. I have been waiting to have a mastecomy for 6 weeks and 4 days it will finally happen and then I can start the healing process in mind and body and hopefully get on with life instead of constantly worrying about surgery and post op recovery. Hopefully all will be good and can thing of living life to the full with out doctors and tests and operations. Life really does revolve around tumours and doctors, hospitals and sickness when you have these problems. Never mind I could worse off. Heres to life, love and family.
