Hi girls
I have just had my 2nd FEC chemo on Monday 26th. I had a Neulasta injection Tuesday 27th. I am no woossse and used to living with pain but I believe I have been living in a hell hole for a good couple of days and just starting to dig my way out. The chemo bomb when it hits is bad enough but the excruciating pain from the injection sent me to hell and back I am afraid. I had absolute excruciating back pain and really do not wish to go through that again. I am not sure what the answer is for the pain but plan to try and find out should I have to have the injection again. Any advice/suggestions is always greatful.
I have had an ongoing infection from the first original surgery done on 22/12/11 of which I have a seroma and another word was used starting with a p???. I have had it aspirated twice but both times doctors have been disappointed with small amount they have been able to get out to send to pathology. I am going to have a ultrasound of the breast next week to see what is going on. Needless to say my white cell count was low and therefore necessary I have the Neulasta injection which I am very appreciative but the Panadol they indicated was all I would need did not suffice in any way I am afraid.
My heart goes out to anyone having to have to have this injection and then to go through it's effects on top of your chemo. Be strong on the good days and love yourself on the bad days :-)
All my luv hugs and best wishes to you all. xox
