oh my gosh. i went to the recording of can of worms today and had the opportunity to make a comment on my reconstruction. I was so nervous i had prepared my comment but as soon as the camera was on me my mind went blank.
My dad thought i spoke really well but i am not so sure. I will find out tomorrow some time wether or not they have edited me out of tomorrow nights show.
I really hope they don't. I would love to have our perspective included. Fingers crossed.

I was watching with my 30 year old son who couldn't prevent a tear or two and said how much strength he thought you must possess.

Hi Kathy, Thankyou. I have spoken to BCNA and they are happy and said the same thing. I am really really proud to have been able to do it considering it was only the second time i had spoken publically.
I am also happy that al the women i have spoken to have been so nice and supportive so thankyou.

Hi Danielle. I saw Can of Worms too and thought you did a great job representing women who have had a breast reconstruction because of breast cancer. Don't feel bad about not getting in a plug for BCNA - it's hard to say too much in the short air time they gave you.

I watched can of worms last night and I was so pleased that you got to have a say from the breast cancer perspective.You were terrific! It would be hard talking in front of tv camera and you were very composed and articulate.Thanks for representing your bcna sisters.
