Nervous to start tamoxifen

I have just been prescribed tamoxifen to start when my radiation finishes and am eager to hear of others experiences with it.

Hi I have been on tamoxifen for just over 12 months. I suffer from terrible hot flushes, when I go back to the oncoligist I'm going to ask for something to help. In the beginning I was having herceptin treatment and the flushes were worse, I have finished herceptin and they have settled a bit but still not pleasant. I'm also very short tempered and anxious, now some of this can be the side effects from chemo, who knows I try and take it one day at a time. Sorry not to many positives, take care
